Henway Hard Cider
Henway Hard Cider is a craft cidery based in Bluemont, Virginia, rooted in the agricultural traditions of Loudoun County and its orchard-rich landscape. Built on a foundation of farming and fermentation expertise, Henway focuses on producing small-batch hard ciders that reflect both the quality of the fruit and a clear sense of place.
The cidery works with regionally sourced apples and carefully selected juice to create a range of styles, from crisp, fruit-forward ciders to more layered, culinary-inspired expressions. Each release is designed to highlight balance, drinkability, and the natural character of the ingredients, appealing to both traditional cider drinkers and those new to the category.
Henway’s production approach emphasizes precision and consistency. Controlled fermentations, thoughtful sulfur management, and careful post-fermentation handling ensure stability and quality across batches, while still allowing flexibility for seasonal and limited releases. This balance of technical discipline and creative exploration defines the cidery’s identity.
As part of Loudoun County’s growing craft beverage scene, Henway Hard Cider contributes to the region’s reputation as a destination for wine, cider, and agritourism. Its close connection to working farmland reinforces its commitment to authenticity—linking orchard, cellar, and finished cider.
Today, Henway Hard Cider continues to evolve as a distinctive voice in Virginia cider, producing approachable, well-crafted ciders that bridge traditional methods with modern craft sensibilities.
